Dr. Lim has received numerous awards from the University of Oklahoma, “The Asian American Outstanding Professional, Multi-cultural Achievement Award” in 1993-4.
While in dental school, Dr. Heng Lim, DDS worked at The University of Oklahoma Medical School doing research on “bone growth” which he was awarded to go to Scotland!
After dental school, Dr. Lim was accepted into the most prestigious trauma residency program at Hennepin Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. There were only 4 doctors chosen out of 500. However, Dr. Heng Lim and his wife Rachel chose to move to Oologah, OK to start a dental practice, and three years later, moved the practice to Owasso, OK.
With his passion to make a difference in the lives of people, Dr. Heng Lim has continued his education beyond expectancy to be able to bring the latest and best knowledge and treatment for his patients.
Dr. Lim has studied Neuromuscular Dentistry, Physiological Dentistry, Facial Growth and Controlled Arch Orthodontics. He is a FELLOW of the prestigious LVI (Las Vegas Institute).
Dr. Heng Lim has a world class dental team, technology and facility in Owasso, OK. People have come from all over the United States to seek his expertise. He is a member of ODA, ADA, IAPA, and practices general and family dentistry. Dr. Lim and his team warmly welcome new patients to their dental practice.
Dr. Lim is an accomplished author. “My Journey to Paradise“, and “The Ultimate Life, a Return to the Killing Fields” are his latest books. He is also an ordained deacon and minister of the Gospel and is the president of “Hope for Cambodia“. He and his wife have led numerous mission trips to Cambodia. They have sponsored two young men from Cambodia who have lived with them and have become part of their family, along with their own two daughters who are now grown.
Dr. Heng Lim and Rachel enjoy camping, fishing, hiking and public speaking, but most of all they love to make a difference in the lives of others.
